This policy describes why we collect information about you and how the information is handled, how you can control your own information, and how you can contact us. Scanvo Lastbil AB, Scanvo Verkstad AB, and Scanvo Hyr AB (referred to below as Scanvo) are responsible for the data we collect directly from you, and processing is done in accordance with applicable legislation.
Scanvo is also a data processor for:Wasa Kredit AB, Nordic Finance Business Partner AB, Nordea Finans Sverige AB, and Swedbank Finans AB, which means that we manage certain data collected for vehicle financing. Nordic Truckcenter AB, Langendorf GmbH, and Krismar - this means that we manage certain data collected for the DAF, Krismar, and Langendorf GmbH brands. Our commitment in this regard is regulated by data processing agreements between the involved companies.
SUMMARY OF OUR INFORMATION HANDLING:Legality, transparency, and purpose limitationEvery processing of personal data that we perform must have a documented legal basis according to the criteria specified in GDPR legislation. We shall be transparent with you as a customer about how we process your data. We shall be clear about the purpose for which we collect data from you and what we will use it for. We are not entitled to use the data for a purpose other than what we have stated. You own your data. We borrow it to be able to assist you as a customer in the best possible way.
Data minimizationWe shall not collect more personal data than necessary or for an indefinite future need.
AccuracyWe shall take all reasonable measures to ensure that the data we have is accurate and that incorrect personal data is deleted or corrected. If you, as a customer, see that we have incorrect data about you, you are welcome to contact us so we can correct it.
Storage minimizationWhen the data is no longer needed, it shall be deleted or de-identified. For all our processing of personal data, we have established procedures and deadlines for deletion.
Privacy and confidentialityWe are committed to treating your personal data in a secure and safe manner. This means, among other things, that only those individuals who need the information have access to it. Our staff have signed a confidentiality agreement that assures you that we will not disclose your data in any other way than specified in this policy. We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data.
ResponsibilityAs a data controller and data processor for our brands and financing companies, we have a significant responsibility. To ensure compliance with our commitments, we have systems for registering our processing.
WHICH SYSTEMS WILL YOUR DATA BE STORED IN IF YOU CONTACT A SALES REPRESENTATIVE?LIMELime is Scanvo Lastbil and Scanvo Hyrs CRM system where we create quotes and orders for vehicle sales and/or vehicle rentals. When you request a quote, we save your name, personal identification number/organization number, phone number, email address, and address in order to provide feedback to you and to offer you an accurate proposal.
The sales representative also has the option to add free text related to the deal to help us fulfill your wishes in the best possible way. An example could be when you plan to exchange a vehicle or if you have special requests. To provide you with a price for your trade-in, we also save the registration number of your intended trade-in vehicle.
When signing an order/rental contract, we also note your choice of insurance company and how you finance your vehicle, and perform identity verification with a copy of your drivers license, passport, or ID document. In addition to managing your order, the information stored in Lime can be used for targeted information, event invitations, marketing, and offers in printed and digital form from Scanvo. The information sent out will be relevant information regarding cars, services, and events related to your current vehicle ownership. You have the option to decline this by contacting us and filling out the document at the bottom of this page.
Retention routines and more are regulated in our Internal Policy.VISMAWhen signing an order/rental contract with Scanvo Lastbil/Scanvo Hyr, the information necessary for invoicing your vehicle from Lime is transferred to our business system Visma to fulfill our obligations under the Accounting Act. The system is stored on our own server.
WHICH SYSTEMS WILL YOUR DATA BE STORED IN IF YOU CONTACT OUR WORKSHOP?INFOFLEXInfoflex is Scanvo Verkstads business system for the automotive industry, where we create work orders and spare parts orders, as well as invoices. When you make a purchase with us, we store your name, address, email address, and telephone number in order to be able to contact you. If the purchase/matter concerns work on a specific vehicle, we also save the registration number, mileage, and your customer remark (what you have informed us you need help with). We do this to be able to service or repair your vehicle according to the manufacturers instructions.
If you are a sole proprietorship or represent a legal entity and want us to invoice you, we also store your companys organization number. If you want credit with us, we have a policy to always perform a credit check. You must give written consent to this. After consent, we enter a credit limit in Infoflex.

VEHICLE DAMAGEIn case of vehicle damage, you, as a customer, report the damage to your insurance company. You receive a claim number from the insurance company. You, as a customer, book an appointment with us to repair the damage. We store your name, address, email address, and telephone number in the system to be able to contact you. In addition, we store your cars registration number, description of the damage event, photos of the damage, your insurance company and claim number. After that, we invoice according to the insurance companys requirements, any deductible, and VAT to the customer.
WHICH SYSTEMS WILL YOUR DATA BE STORED IN, AS A SUPPLIER?VISMAIn our (Scanvo) accounting system Visma, we store the following information about you as a supplier: name, personal identification number/organization number, bank account number/bank details, VAT registration number, contact person, telephone number. This information is collected so that we can contact the company and pay invoices.
We also keep incoming and outgoing invoices for seven years in accordance with the Accounting Act. These systems are access-controlled in our organization. Retention routines and more are regulated in our Internal Policy.
INFOFLEXScanvo Verkstad only stores name and telephone number for suppliers. This is done in order to add items to inventory management. The system is stored on our own server.
WHICH SYSTEMS WILL YOUR DATA BE STORED IN IF YOU EMAIL US OR FILL OUT A FORM ON OUR WEBSITE?All types of emails that you send to us are saved by the recipient, and may also be forwarded internally for you to receive the appropriate assistance. The same applies if you use a contact form on our website. In that case, an email is generated and sent to the appropriate recipient within our organization.
Our policy is that each employee has the right to save emails, but also to delete them as soon as the case is closed. Our staff are informed that personal data in emails should be deleted when they are no longer needed, although there is no specific time limit for how long emails can be saved.
Job applications are deleted after the position has been filled unless we ask you to allow us to retain them.
We do not disclose sensitive information to other individuals except those who need the information to assist you with your inquiry. This is regulated by our internal data protection policy.
If you are concerned that your email will be shared within our organization, we ask you to be especially clear about this in order to facilitate our compliance with your request.
