A loyal customer in DC Transport
Today, DC Transport from Bjuv brought home their new, impressive Scania R500 truck with a relocated cabin that we did here at the Scanvo workshop. CEO Peter Schütt is one of Scanvos oldest customers – we have sold over 50 vehicles to Peter since the early 2000s.- Allan and I have become good friends, and everything runs very smoothly. I truly appreciate the simplicity of doing business with Scanvo. Everything goes fast and there is a high level of service and knowledge in the workshop, says Peter, who mentions that he has around 25 vehicles in his fleet and 35 employees, spread across two companies.
Peter sees many advantages in buying new.
- Its better to amortize than to repair. And lets not forget about the fuel economy when buying new; it pays for itself quite quickly.
DC Transport initially started as a tractor-trailer brokerage, but as the company grew and took on other assignments, they quickly transitioned into becoming a haulage company with their own vehicles. Today, they have everything from tractor-trailers to domestic delivery vehicles and trailers.
On-site in Varberg, in addition to Peter, was the driver Eva (in the picture) who will be driving the new truck.
- Haha, it was truly a long-awaited day for her! Its always enjoyable to have drivers who appreciate our fine vehicles and, therefore, take good care of them, says Peter.
