Hasse at Tornfrakt chooses DAF
When we visited the Trailer Trucking Festival in Mantorp the other week, we had a chat with Hasse Öberg, who works as a driver for Tornfrakt AB. Hasse has been working as a driver for over 40 years and has been driving various Scania trucks for the past 35 years.- When I started at Tornfrakt, I was offered to try out a DAF XG truck, and I was extremely hesitant. In the end, I decided to give it a try, and I must say I was convinced right from the first trip. Its an amazing truck, and now I cant imagine anything else," says Hasse, who believes that the biggest difference from previous trucks is the comfort and low fuel consumption:
- The truck is incredibly comfortable to drive, definitely the most comfortable Ive ever driven. It drives smoothly, has good driving characteristics (very good visibility!), is fuel-efficient, and the cabin space is fantastic!
Hasse believes that DAF will increase its share on the Swedish market.
- You can tell that many are interested. Both in Mantorp and in my everyday life, I get a lot of attention from my DAF XG, built at Scanvo. It looks really nice, and if I got a nickel every time someone wanted to take a picture of the truck, Id be rich," Hasse laughs.
