10 DAF trucks to Samat International AB
The other day, we had the great honor of delivering a total of 10 DAF XG480 4x2 trucks to Samat International AB.The delivery is the result of a close partnership between DAF Trucks Sweden, Samat International AB, STS Helsingborg, Scanvo Lastbil AB, and Green Energy. Samat International AB is a major player in the logistics of liquid chemicals. Every day, 11,200 tons of chemicals are transported across Europe in their stainless-steel tanks and containers.
“We’ve received a lot of positive feedback from our drivers regarding the comfort of the cabin, and several have expressed a desire to drive a DAF truck,” says Jon Nilsson, Technical Manager at Samat International AB.
We at Scanvo can only agree – these are fantastic trucks, with low fuel consumption, extremely spacious cabins, excellent driver comfort, and advanced safety features.

An important part of the deal is Green Energys solar panels, which have been installed on the trucks. These panels reduce fuel consumption and contribute to a significant reduction in CO2 emissions. In 2024, thanks to their collaboration with Green Energy, Samat International reduced their CO2 emissions by a remarkable 92.9 tons across the entire fleet. High five for that!
